About Four Winds Chartering

If you remember one thing about us, remember this: We’re successful only because of God and people like you. Our crew is dedicated to giving every guest a safe, clean, and memorable day on the water — whether you’re fishing, cruising, or honoring a loved one.

Captain John was born and raised right here in Hampton Roads. He learned to swim and fish right in the Chesapeake Bay. After years working as an ironworker, he purchased the Four Winds to share his passion for the Bay with others.

History

The Four Winds was built in 1961 by R.F. Green in Deltaville, Virginia. After decades of service under Capt. Cody and Capt. Mike, the vessel was purchased by Capt. John in 2012.
